The World Cup Hub
The bracket, the results so far, and — once you know where you’re going — getting to the stadium, buying tickets that actually work, and where locals actually eat. City by city, US host cities only.
48 teams, 12 groups of 4. Top 2 per group plus the best 8 third-place teams — 32 total — advanced to an extra Round of 32, unique to this expanded format, before the tournament narrowed to the familiar Round of 16. We’re now at the Quarterfinals.
New JerseyJUL 19 · METLIFE STADIUM
Kansas City kickoff time is reported inconsistently across outlets (8 vs. 9 p.m. ET) — check FIFA.com day-of before you plan around it.
Semifinals (Dallas Jul 14, Atlanta Jul 15) and the Final (New York/NJ, Jul 19) aren’t set yet — they depend on these results. For the live, continuously updated bracket: FIFA’s official bracket or ESPN’s tracker.
This is the first World Cup spread across three countries. A US visa or ESTA gets you nowhere in Canada or Mexico, and a quick hop across the border does not reset your 90 days in the US. There is no special “World Cup visa,” whatever anyone selling one tells you. Read the full three-border guide →
The only official channel — for original sales and resale — is FIFA.com/tickets. Type the address in yourself; don’t click a search ad. The FBI has warned about cloned FIFA sites built to steal your card info and sell fake tickets — among the ones flagged: worldcup26ticket.com, fifastore.us.com. All real tickets are mobile-only through the FWC2026 app — a screenshot or a printed PDF will not get you through the gate. FIFA.com/tickets →

Getting there & where to eat
Not in Boston — it’s in Foxborough, 30 miles south.
Commuter rail (MBTA Foxboro Line) runs direct on match days. Driving on a normal day is ~45 min; on match day, add an hour.
- Neptune Oyster — North End — the lobster roll locals line up for
- Sullivan's Castle Island — Southie — fried clams by the water since 1951
- Santarpio's — East Boston — bar pizza, cash only, since 1903
Getting there & where to eat
Not in LA proper — it’s in Inglewood.
Metro C Line (Crenshaw Line) runs direct from downtown — genuinely the best option. LA traffic on match day is not something to test.
- Sonoratown — DTLA — Sonoran-style tacos
- Los 5 Puntos — Boyle Heights — carnitas
- Villa's Tacos — Highland Park — quesabirria, Bib Gourmand
Getting there & where to eat
Not in Miami proper — it’s in Miami Gardens, 15 miles north of downtown.
No direct rail. Rideshare surges hard on match days — book early. From Miami Beach, factor in bridge + highway time.
- Sanguich de Miami — Little Havana — the Cubano
- La Camaronera — fried snapper, pan con minuta
- Chef Creole — Little Haiti — griot
Getting there & where to eat
In the Truman Sports Complex, ~10 miles from downtown KC.
No rail option. Rideshare or drive is the practical move. Parking is large but priced for a World Cup day.
- Slap's BBQ — KCK — burnt ends, sells out daily, print the hours
- Joe's KC — gas-station original, the Z-Man
- Harp Barbecue — Overland Park — craft brisket, closed Mon/Tue
Getting there & where to eat
Not in Dallas — it’s in Arlington, between Dallas and Fort Worth.
DART light rail does not reach it directly. Drive I-30; leave time for parking and the walk from lot to gate.

- Mia's Tex-Mex — Oak Lawn — brisket tacos
- Taqueria El Si Hay — Oak Cliff — fajita tacos, cash only
Getting there & where to eat
Actually downtown — the rare exception this tournament.
Take MARTA — Five Points or Vine City stations, both walkable. Transit genuinely beats driving here.
- Nam Phuong — Buford Hwy — pho
- Twisted Soul — West Midtown — global-Southern
- Marcus Bar & Grille — Old Fourth Ward — jambalaya, Samuelsson
Getting there & where to eat
